A Guide to Farmer’s Markets in Cape May County

This guide has been updated for the 2023 season. Four municipalities will bring farmers, craftspeople, and vendors together for farmer’s markets this summer. Some markets, like the Upper Township Farmer’s Market, will not return, but there is plenty to choose from if you’re looking for fresh produce, homemade food, local honey, pies, and more.

Wildwood Farmer’s Market 

When: Every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (Starting May 27 through Sept. 2) 

Where: Byrne Plaza, 3400 Pacific Ave 

The Downtown Wildwood Farmers Market is the place to be every Saturday morning from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend for Jersey fresh produce, baked goods, specialty foods, gifts and more.  

The market features over 60 vendors. The “DOOWW information booth” featured free Wildwood magnets, Byrne Plaza schedule of events, and information about things happening in downtown Wildwood. 

West Cape May Farmer’s Market 

When: Every Tuesday from 3 to 7:30 p.m. (starting June 20 through August 29)  

Where: Backyard Park, 732 Broadway 

West Cape May’s farmer’s market will once again run a full ten weeks, every Tuesday beginning June 20 through August 29, 2023. We look forward to another bountiful season! Rain or shine, the market will be open! The Market features fresh produce and more.

Stone Harbor Farmer’s Market 

When: Every Sunday from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (Starting May 28 through Sept. 3) 

Where: Water Tower Plaza, 95th Street & Second Avenue  

Stone Harbor’s popular market features local and specialty produce, prepared foods & drinks, baked goods, fresh flowers, spices & sauces, and specialty foods. The market only has food and does not have crafts and other items. Every Sunday starting May 28th through Sept. 3. 

Ocean City Farmer’s Market 

When: Every Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Rain or shine. (Starting June 21 through Sept. 13) 

Where: 6th Streets & Asbury Ave., Tabernacle Grounds.  

Come get your fresh produce, including fresh Jersey Corn, at Ocean City’s farmer’s market. This is the 27th year that the popular market has run. Homemade baked goods, produce, salsas, and fresh treats are on offer. Expect 75-100 vendors.  

Sea Isle City Farmer’s Market 

When: Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. (Starting June 20 to August 29) 

Where: Excursion Park, 2 41st St, Sea Isle City 

The Sea Isle City Chamber of Commerce will once again host a farmer’s market in Sea Isle; vendors this year include fresh produce, vegan eats, pies, nuts, soaps, honey, and more. Come check out almost 40 vendors and take in the fresh air as you shop.
