Cabanas Beach Bar and Grill, the City of Cape May and Great American Volleyball present the 8th Annual Cabanas Cape May Beach Bash on Saturday, July 22! This fun day of beach volleyball will take place on the Cape May beachfront between Decatur and Gurney streets.
Registration for the volleyball tournament is open to the public, and all skill levels from beginner to pro are encouraged to participate. The levels of play open to the public include Men’s Open or Women’s Open (Pro Division), Men’s AA, A, B, and Women’s AA, A, B. Pro division will compete for a prize of $1,500.
The playing field will consist of 10 to 12 volleyball courts with 60-80 teams playing Doubles. Cabanas will be hosting an after party from 3 to 7 p.m. where players can eat and drink with other event players, friends and family! Enjoy a Caribbean-style menu, cool cocktails and a “chill and relaxing” vibe after a day of playing volleyball on Cape May’s sandy beaches.
In 2016, 75 teams entered the tournament from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York and Maryland. Come join the action and play with teams from all over!
