1. 7th Annual Stone Harbor Shiver

Join us for our 7th Annual Stone Harbor Shiver! The weekend kicks off on Friday, March 10 at the Shiver Pre-Party at the Yacht Club of Stone Harbor from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday’s festivities begin at Fred’s Tavern for “Kegs & Eggs” at 9:30 a.m., followed by the parade down to the beach, led by members of the Fralinger String Band. You and your team will have a chance to show off your Shiver wear and make your way on to the stage for a 90-second introduction and routine, where our judges will choose the “Best Of” for the event. We’ll hit the surf at approximately 1 p.m. for a dip in the chilly Atlantic! This year’s charity is Family Promise of Cape May County. Learn more at www.familypromisecmc.org. 2. Spirit Brands National Rec & School Cheerleading Championships
Saturday, March 11 at 9 a.m.
Wildwoods Convention Center, 4501 Boardwalk, Wildwood
The annual Mid-Atlantic National Cheerleading and Dance Championship will feature recreation, high school and all-star divisions. Performances will be choreographed to music and sound effects, and winning teams will be awarded prizes. An admission fee will be charged at the door the day of the event. 3. St. Patrick’s Day Celebration & Parade

LOCATION CHANGE: North Wildwood Recreation Center, 900 Central Ave., North Wildwood
Times and schedule of events for the Irish celebration will stay the same, with a ceremony kick-off commencing at 11:30 a.m. this Saturday. Attendees include state and local elected officials, local religious leaders, various civic organizations, bands and honorees. FREE to attend. 4. St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Celebration

83rd to 63rd Street & Landis Avenue, Sea Isle City
The annual Saint Patrick’s Day Parade is always a favorite, thanks to many shamrock-clad enthusiasts and plenty “Wearin’ of the Green.” The parade route is along Landis Avenue, 83rd to 63rd Street, starting at 3:30 p.m. Rain or Shine. Prior the parade, there will be a “Best Dressed” competition inside Kix McNutley’s. 5. Midiri Brothers Jazz Band
Sunday, March 12 at 2 p.m.

Cape May Traditional Jazz Society Presents Traditional Jazz from 2 to 4 p.m. The Midiri Brothers Jazz Band features Joe Midiri on clarinet, Paul Midiri on vibes and trombone, Jim Lawlor on drums, Jack Hegyl on bass and Pat Mercuri on guitar. Don’t miss one of the top traditional jazz bands in America! Tickets are $15 advance purchase, $20 at the door, $15 for CMTJS members and free for students with school ID or parents. Everyone is welcome. Free parking, cash bar, optional dinner at 4:30 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the Food Bank of South Jersey to help support local needs.
