1. U.S. Futsal Northeast Regional Championship

The Futsal tournament is an action-packed, international form of indoor soccer. Teams consist of various age brackets and include a total of over 2,000 players from around the world. Prizes will be awarded to winning teams and top players as well. Games will be held 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday. Times are subject to change depending on number of teams. Admission is $10 per day or $20 for all four days. Children 8 and under are free. Wristbands will be available for purchase at the door. 2. Crafts and Collectibles in Winter

The region’s most sought-after collectibles dealers and craftspeople come together for a two-day show featuring an array of handmade items, jewelry, glassware and more from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $2. 3. Cape May Wine Trail

Spend the day visiting two of Cape May County’s wineries and tasting the unique flavors of each. Board the trolley at 11 a.m. from the Emlen Physick Estate and travel to Willow Creek Winery where you will enjoy lunch and a tasting, then it’s off to Natali Vineyards for a tasting. $60 includes lunch and wine tastings at each vineyard. 4. Sea Isle City 23rd Annual Polar Bear Plunge
Saturday, Feb. 18 at 2 p.m.
40th Street Beach, Sea Isle City
Day-of registrations and preregistration pickup for the Plunge will take place on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the tent outside of LaCosta. Plungers will also be able to check-in on Friday at LaCosta from noon to 9 p.m. The cost of the plunge is $25 and plungers must be 12 years of age and older. All registered plungers will receive a wristband and a commemorative T-shirt (while supplies last). Live entertainment will be provided all weekend at LaCosta. The Fralinger String Band and the 2017 Polar Bear Royal Family will lead plungers down to the beach. The 2017 Polar Bear Plunge will start at 2 p.m. After plungers experience a frigid taste of the Atlantic Ocean, LaCosta will host the Costume Contest awards ceremony at 4 p.m. under the main tent.
5. Mike’s Seafood Polar Bear Walk/Run for Autism
Sunday, Feb. 19 at 12 p.m.
JFK Blvd. & Promenade, Sea Isle City
Registration for this event is 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Landis Avenue and JFK Boulevard. Register online at www.polarbearrunwalkforautism.com. Fees vary. Proceeds benefit Autism Speaks, Special Services Schools, Autism support groups and families of special needs children. Mike’s Seafood Polar Bear Walk/Run for Autism begins at 12 p.m. at JFK Boulevard and Promenade, and an awards ceremony and breakfast buffet will follow at 2 p.m. at LaCosta.
