1. 32nd Annual Wildwoods International Kite Festival
Friday, May 26 to Sunday, May 28 at 9 a.m., and Monday, May 29 at 11 a.m.
Wildwoods Convention Center, 4501 Boardwalk, Wildwood
The kite festival officially starts at 9 p.m. on Friday, featuring an illuminated night kite fly on the beach at Rio Grande Avenue. The Kite Festival continues on Saturday and Sunday, starting at 9 a.m. daily, with the East Coast Stunt Kite Championships. Also during the weekend, join in the Candy Drop, Running of the Bols, Rev Games or Rokkaku Team Challenge; fly a kite on the Learn to Fly Field or watch the Fighter Kite Competition. More fun is to be had with kite exhibits and workshops on the beach. The Wildwoods International Kite Festival Auction will be held on Saturday in the Convention Center. 2. Stone Harbor Library Grand Opening
