2014 Easter Egg Hunts & Fun

Grab your baskets, cameras, and get ready to hunt! The shore will play host to a number of Easter Egg Hunts this upcoming weekend, and you’re invited to join the fun.

Oceana Annual Easter Egg Hunt
When: Friday, April 18th from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Where: Oceana – 502 Route 9 North, Cape May Court House

Oceana rehab & Nursing Center is holding its Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Friday, April 18th and the community is invited to attend. There will be no charge. Bring your camera and pose for pictures with the Easter Bunny. The event will feature prizes, refreshments and fun for everyone! Bring a basket as well!

Greater Wildwood Jaycees Easter Egg Hunt
When: Saturday, April 19th from noon to 1 p.m.
Where: On the beach at 19th Ave in North Wildwood

Children 11 and under can pick up eggs and collect prizes for free! Call 609-729-2170 for details.

Easter Egg Hunt
When: Saturday, April 19th from 10 am to 11:30 a.m.
Where: Cape May Point State Park, Cape May Point

Bring your Easter baskets or beach buckets for an Easter Egg Hunt. Must register by calling 609-884-2159. Ages 2-4, 5-7, and 8 –12 are welcome

When: Saturday, April 19th from noon to 1:30 p.m.
Where: On the beach at Lincoln Avenue in Wildwood

Children ages 1-12 are invited to dig for eggs buried in the sand. Each egg contains a toy and a golden egg is worth a bigger prize. Call 609729-5501 for details.

Morey’s Piers Easter Opening Day Celebration
When: Sunday, April 20th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Morey’s Piers, Wildwood

Morey’s Piers hosts its Opening Day Easter Celebration from noon – 5 p.m. This event kicks off the spring season in the Wildwoods and is sure to bring out the kid in everyone. Boardwalk eateries, shops, games and arcades will be open for a full weekend of fun with rides, food, and entertainment – including strolling stilt walkers and jugglers, face painting, and pictures with the Easter Bunny, at the Parent’s Pavilion on Morey’s Mariners Landing Pier. Easter Sunday Festivities
When: Sunday, April 20th from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: Congress Hall – 200 Congress Pl, Cape May

At Congress Hall, the historically famous “Summer White House” of past presidents in Cape May, Easter traditions live on. America’s oldest seaside resort is welcoming guests for its annual Easter fun and Spring Break celebrations. All are welcome to enjoy a delicious Easter brunch in the ballroom and participate in an egg hunt on Congress Hall’s lawn, a nod to the traditional White House egg roll in D.C.

All aboard the Easter Express Train! Rides around Congress Hall will take place 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. for $3 per person. Easter festivities would not be complete without two Egg Hunts on the Grand Lawn at 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Afterwards, families can join in the fun of Lawn Games such as three-legged races and soccer from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The Easter Bunny and Blue, the hotel’s blue pig mascot, will also be on hand to delight young and old and help hide the eggs!
