Sand Barren’s FootGolf, combining the growing popularity of soccer with the classic challenge of golf, features a completely new course created specifically for this fast-growing, fast-paced sport. While it is based on conventional golf, there is no equipment to buy and carry. Everyone from kids to adults can play this exciting and fun new sport. All you need is a soccer ball. Just like golf, you try to get the ball into the (large) hole in as few kicks as possible.
Since it is set back far from the crowds and noise of busy roadways, Sand Barrens is often called Cape May County’s hidden treasure; but everything from the golf course, to the restaurant, driving range and FootGolf course are always open to the public!
If you’re looking for a classic game of golf, Sand Barrens’ dramatic bunkers and undulating greens make for a tough but fair game. The course itself is most well-known for the unique personality of its layout with more than 100 acres of sand in our bunkers and sweeping waste areas.
Golfers in the know also appreciate the course’s practice facilities, featuring a driving range with real grass tees and a huge putting green to enable you to work on every aspect of your game.
Forgot some vital golf gear? The golf shop at Sand Barrens is staffed by a highly-qualified team who will get you outfitted and on the course in no time. The team of PGA Professionals can do club fittings as well to ensure that your equipment fits your swing and your style of play.
