The largest Irish Festival on the East Coast is coming to North Wildwood from Thursday, September 24 to Sunday, September 27. Read on to find out some of the best places to go for Irish specials and entertainment all weekend long!

If you’re perusing down Olde New Jersey Avenue during Irish Fall Festival this weekend, be sure to step off the street for a bit and grab a bite to eat paired with some great drinks. Flip Flopz welcomes Irish Fall Festival attendees all weekend long, but be sure to stop in on Thursday and Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. for Happy Hour specials including $2.50 domestic bottles, $2 domestic pints, $3 well drinks and $5 appetizers at the downstairs bar. Catch live entertainment all weekend long from the Flip-N-Mickeys, the Hooligans, Nowhere Slow and more. Happy Hour on Thursday and Friday is from 4 to 6 p.m. and includes $2 domestics and $2.50 well drinks, but you might want to take a break from the drinks to try Westy’s Shamrock Shakes and Irish coffee!

Down the street from Westy’s is Echo’s, which will feature autumn craft beers for Irish Fall Festival, including Philadelphia Brewing Company’s “Kenz O’Lantern,” Leinenkugel’s “Harvest Patch Shandy,” Sierra Nevada’s “Oktoberfest” and Cape May Brewing Company’s “The Bog.” Also enjoy a special Irish Fall Festival menu which includes shepherd’s pie, “Bangers and Mash” and more. From Thursday to Monday (if you want to extend your weekend fun), Owen’s Pub will have DJ entertainment and Irish dancers, along with many Irish food specials including an Irish burger and a grilled Reuben sandwich. On Sunday, be sure to catch the Essex County Police & Firemen Emerald Society Pipe Band performing at 3 p.m. Join Owen’s Pub in the AOH Tink Haldeman Memorial 5K Run & 1M Walk on Saturday the 26 at 8:30 a.m. Cost is $15 and registration is at 8 a.m. at 1st & Olde New Jersey Avenue. All proceeds go to Wildwood Catholic High School.

If you’re looking for a different way to celebrate Irish Fall Festival, Ship N’ Shore will host its annual Hawaiian Luau & Irish BBQ on Saturday, September 26 featuring their famous green pig!
