WILDWOOD – Add FREE family fun and music to your Labor Day Weekend festivities with the 11th Annual Wildwood Block Party and Music Festival on Sunday, September 6.
The end-of-summer celebration will take place from noon – 11 p.m. at Fox Park, located on Ocean Avenue directly across from the Wildwoods Convention Center. The festivities will include continuous entertainment, games, crafts, food, merchandise vendors, FREE live music and much more!
The entertainment line-up will include The Jeremiah Hunter Band, Purple Reign, Tonna Sacca & Denise Clemente, Joe Montello, The Comets, and Georgie Young. A special appearance by musical icon Chubby Checker is scheduled to celebrate 55 years of “The Twist” first being introduced to the world in Wildwood at the Rainbow Club. Checker has contributed to the Wildwoods colorful history and unique culture that has drawn people of all ages to the five-mile island for generations.
