The Volunteers in Medicine (VIM) Annual 5K Run/Walk will be held at the beautiful Cape May County Park & Zoo, 707 Rt. 9 N., Cape May Court House, on Saturday, May 21 at 8 a.m. The event is sponsored by the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 602.
Entry fees are $20 pre-registration and $25 day of race for adults (ages 12+), and $12 pre-registration and $15 day of race for children (ages 12 and under). Pre-registration is available at www.vimcmc.org. The day of the race, registration will open at 8 a.m.
The 5K run will begin at 9 a.m., and the walk will begin at 9:15 a.m. Following the run and walk, an awards ceremony will be held at 9:45 a.m.

Volunteers in Medicine (VIM) is a 501(c)(3) healthcare clinic that provides free primary care to residents of Cape May County. Since opening in 2002, due to outstanding community support from concerned individuals, families, businesses, organizations, municipalities, churches and county government, VIM has been able to serve more than 4,000 patients with over 29,000 clinic visits. The need for free primary care continues to be significant in Cape May County even after the implementation of the Affordable Care Act.
