U.S. Air Force “Blue Aces” Band Will Offer a Free Concert in Sea Isle City

The United States Air Force Heritage of America Blue Aces Band will perform a free concert at Sea Isle City’s Excursion Park Band Shell on Friday, August 28, starting at 7:30 p.m. The concert is open to the public. Spectators are reminded to bring folding chairs and blankets to recline on the lawn at Excursion Park.

According to their website, The Blue Aces are “a roots Rock and R&B band with a powerful stripped-down sound” that plays authentic Americana music “delivered with soul and infused with the Blues.”

The USAF Heritage of America Band was one of the original Army Air Corps bands created during World War II. The band currently is based in Langley, Virginia. Members have performed in live concerts on the east coast and on nationally-televised broadcasts such as The Today Show and The Desert Storm National Victory Parade. The Heritage of America Band has also performed for U.S presidents and foreign heads of state, including the Queen of England and the President of France. The band has earned international acclaim and numerous honors, and it remains at the forefront of preserving and enriching America’s musical heritage in the 21st century.
