Sara the Turtle Festival

Where: Excursion Park, JFK Boulevard and Pleasure Avenue, Sea Isle City
On Wednesday, June 24, Sea Isle City’s Division of Tourism will host the resort’s 2015 Sara the Turtle Festival at Excursion Park, JFK Boulevard and Pleasure Avenue, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. (rain date: June 25). The festival will include a variety of free family activities, live entertainment, nature displays and the chance to pet a menagerie of exotic animals. Festival-goers of all ages will enjoy exhibits by the Sea Isle City Environmental Commission, the Marine Mammal Stranding Center, the Sea Isle City Beachcomber Guides and representatives from other organizations who will offer information and hands-on displays. There will also be live animal exhibits by New Jersey Nature and the Wetlands Institute, who will give everyone a close-up look at Diamondback Terrapin Turtles, snakes and other critters. The 2015 Sara the Turtle Festival will also have strolling entertainers, face painters, an inflatable bounce house, a sand art booth, and a turtle nesting display – not to mention many family photo-ops.
Sea Isle City Food Truck Festival
Friday, June 26th at 4 p.m.
Where: Kim McNutley’s, 63rd St, Sea Isle City
The new Sea Isle City Food Truck Rally will feature roughly 16 food trucks, including a mix of trucks that visited Sea Isle City last fall and some new trucks. Confirmed trucks for the rally include returning trucks like Vito’s Hot Dogs, Cha Yen, Sum Pig, Mike’s Pretzels, Zinna’s Bistro, El Lechon De Negron, Kix Lincoln Grill, Waffle De Lys, Five Sisters and Shore Shake. Also, PB&U, and Spectrum Farm to Truck are confirmed as new trucks, with a number of other trucks to be named closer to the event.
North Wildwood Italian-American Festival
Friday, June 26th to Sunday, June 28th at 4 p.m.
Where: Olde New Jersey Ave, North Wildwood
Celebration of Italian-American heritage, food and music held in beautiful North Wildwood held on Olde New Jersey Avenue. Authentic Italian-American foods, vendors, dancing, children’s games, meatball relay races, Little Miss Italy contest, olive tree signings, raffles and FREE live entertainment. Sponsored by the Knights of Columbus #2572, North Wildwood. Fri: 4-10 p.m. Sat: 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Sun: 11 a.m.- 6 p.m.
Alexander’s Little Run That Could 5K – Beach Run/Walk
Saturday, June 27th at 8:30 a.m.
Where: 15th Street and the Beach, North Wildwood
Awareness 5K for Neuroblastoma a rare childhood cancer. Funds benefit Nemours Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders.
Wildwood Crest Summer Music Series – Don’t Call Me Francis
Saturday, June 27th at 7:30 p.m.
Where: Centennial Park, Fern Road and Ocean Avenue, Wildwood Crest
The Borough of Wildwood Crest has planned its largest Summer Music Series schedule to date.
A total of 29 evenings of live musical entertainment for the entire family are on tap in the eighth annual Wildwood Crest Free Summer Music Series, which is set to begin next week. Live music will be held at 7:30 p.m. each Wednesday and Saturday from June 24 through Sept. 5 at the entertainment pavilion at Centennial Park, located at Fern Road and Ocean Avenue.
Jimmy’s Smokin’ Pig Roast

Where: The Rusty Nail, 205 Beach Avenue, Cape May
Come watch grill Master Jimmy Burton in action at The Rusty Nail as he roasts a whole Berkshire pig from Cape Resorts’ very own Beach Plum Farm. Piggy Platters and Porkwiches are palate pleasers for all ages. Starts at 4pm on Monday nights- this is a popular event, so get there early.
Stone Harbor Family Nights
Monday, June 29th at 7 p.m.
Where: Stone Harbor Firehouse, 2nd Avenue and 96th Street, Stone Harbor
Every Monday through August 31st. Magic shows, puppet theater, storytelling, animal adventures, and more! The event is open to the public and free for all.
