Anyone can stick up a shack on the sand, stock it with beers and call it a beach bar but Morey brothers, Will and Jack, have spent the last five years disagreeing on a simple name. They have finally settled for the ironic “Stubborn Brothers” title, but no matter the name, it’s the best place to hang up your wet beach towel and grab a cold one with your sibling, friend or foe.
Stubborn Brothers Beach Bar + Grille is located at Morey’s Surfside Pier and the beach at 25th Street in Wildwood. Need some direction? Just look to where the rest of the people walking off the beach are headed and listen for the sounds of live music, crashing waves and maybe even some sibling rivalry at the bocce ball pit. Don’t miss the views from the deck – the Wildwoods’ best place to watch dolphins jumping out of the Atlantic.
Stubborn Brothers’ laid-back mood, tropical drinks, oversized Adirondack chairs and beach-influenced fare have made it THE SPOT to grab some shade and a bite to eat. Betsy Garr, Food & Beverage Manager, has created dishes featuring a beach-influenced fare with fresh vegetables and local ingredients. Stubborn Bros. signature dishes include the Crabby Cake Sandwich, Fried Green Tomatoes and the Shrimp Mediterranean Wrap. Here, the beach bar offers over ten specialty cocktails featuring tropical ingredients, fresh fruit and original combinations. Be sure to check out the beach bar’s latest signature cocktail creations – The Dirty Banana and Watermelon Splash.
Stubborn Bros. is the local authority in seaside entertainment, featuring live entertainment daily from 2 to 6 p.m. Swing by on Reggae Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and get lost in the distinct island sounds of talented local performers with a refreshing and innovative island cocktail in your hand.
Dress code at Stubborn Bros. is swimsuit casual, and bare feet are not only okay but also encouraged. Come, relax and enjoy, Mon!
