“The Art of Ringo Starr” Exhibition
Friday-Sunday, June 13th to 15th
Where: Ocean Galleries – 9618 Third Ave, Stone Harbor

Ocean Galleries in Stone Harbor was one of three galleries in the U.S. chosen to host the iconic artwork of Ringo Starr this summer in conjunction with the All Starr Band tour.
Anyone who acquires Ringo’s artwork throughout the June exhibition run will have the opportunity to meet the legendary artist at a private reception and have a photo taken on Saturday, June 21 prior to the All Starr Band’s performance at Caesars.

Lighthouse Full Moon Climb
Friday, June 13th from 8 to 10 p.m.
Where: Cape May Lighthouse – 215 Lighthouse Ave, Cape May Point

The Friends of the Cape May Lighthouse invite you to the full moon climb. Take advantage of the light of the full moon and let it guide you up the 199 stairs to the starry top. The Lighthouse is located in Cape May Point State Park, Lower Township. Tower admission is free for “Friends” members. Non-members price is $8 for adults, $3 for children (ages 3-12). Skimmer Festival
Saturday, June 14th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: JFK Boulevard & the Promenade, Sea Isle City

Skimmer is Sea Isle’s largest summer festival, featuring two-days of family-friendly activities and entertainment. Founded in 1962, the festival derives its name from the recognizable straw hats (also known as boater hats) that Victorian-era gentlemen often wore during the summer months.

On Saturday, Skimmer Festival will begin with a Seaside Market along Sea Isle’s oceanfront Promenade. The market will feature nearly 400 vendors selling everything from household items and fishing equipment to children’s toys and artisan crafts. Aviation Museum’s Runway 5K & 1 Mile Fun Walk
Saturday, June 14th from 9 a.m. to noon
Where: 507 Terminal Drive #102 – Cape May Airport

With the cooperation of the Delaware River & Bay Authority (operators of the Cape May Airport), the airport will temporarily close to air traffic allowing runners and walkers this unique opportunity to compete on the runways! Race day registration opens at 7am located at the entrance to the Aviation Museum. New and improved amenities for 2014 include: Beer tastings from Cape May Brewing Company, music, expanded award/age categories, high quality tech shirts (early bird registrants only, prior to May 30th) and precisely measured course. 7th Annual Harbor Fest
Saturday, June 14th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Nature Center of Cape May – 1600 Delaware Ave, Cape May

Harbor Fest is a celebration of seafood and song. The sea, its culture, its economy and its ecology are at the heart of this festival, now in its fifth year. North Wildwood Flag Day Service
Saturday, June 14th from 10 to 11 a.m.
Where: North Wildwood Veterans Memorial – New York and Spruce Aves, North Wildwood

North Wildwood Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5941 and the City of North Wildwood will be hosting the North Wildwood City annual service honoring “Old Glory”. All are invited to attend.

Strawberry Festival
Saturday, June 14th from 7 to 9 p.m.
Where: First United Methodist Church of Avalon – 3344 Dune Dr, Avalon

The First United Methodist Church of Avalon will hold its Annual Strawberry Festival complete with ice cream, cake and fresh strawberries.

Wildwood Historical Society Eighth Annual Post Card & Collectibles Show
Saturday-Sunday, June 14th to 15th
Where: Wildwood Historical Society/George F. Boyer Museum – 3907 Pacific Ave, Wildwood

Stone Harbor Farmers Market
Sunday, June 15th from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Where: Water Tower Plaza – 95th St & Second Ave, Stone Harbor

One of Stone Harbor’s most popular summer events returns June 15. For the third consecutive year, the Stone Harbor Farmer’s Market returns to the Water Tower Plaza.
The debut of the 2014 Stone Harbor’s Farmer’s Market on June 15th will include some extra freebies and entertainment for the public. The event will open with a special parsley ribbon cutting at 8 a.m. where attendees will be able to receive a sample of the parsley along with a reusable grocery style bag decked out with the Borough’s Centennial logo. Live music and entertainment will be provided by local radio station WCZT 98.7FM the Coast, which will broadcast live from the Market.

There is no fee to visit the Stone Harbor Farmer’s Market. Parking is available nearby in the Borough’s municipal parking lot, along with ample off street parking.

Wildwoods Restaurant Week

Curley Fry Festival
Sunday, June 15th from noon to 2 p.m.
Where: Morey’s Surfside Pier, Wildwood

Morey’s Piers will bring their annual “Curley Fry Festival” to the boardwalk at Surfside Pier. Amateur eaters will compete to eat the most one-pound buckets of Curley Fries in 5 minutes. Prize will be awarded to winner. Besides enjoying a variety of featured boardwalk fare, the kids will enjoy face painters and stilt walkers. Admission is totally free!
