What does it feel like to ride the runners behind a team of dogs, steering a loaded sled through mountainous terrain, crossing the vast Alaskan tundra, hugging the shoreline of the great. What does it take to care for a team of Alaskan huskies? Musher Karen Land will answer these questions and more! Land is a writer, public speaker, and three-time participant in the 1000-mile Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race as well as many other sprint and endurance races.

The 2025 Special Olympics New Jersey Spring Games Basketball Tournament is scheduled for March 29–30, 2025, at the Wildwoods Convention Center and various locations in Wildwood, NJ. This annual event showcases the talents of athletes with intellectual disabilities from across the state, promoting inclusion and sportsmanship. Admission is FREE, and community members are encouraged to attend and support the competitors. In this free play, meet Philadelphia’s first multiracial collective of female reformers at the moment they chose to move. If She Stood is an immersive theatrical experience in which the performance space is transformed into a 19th century Quaker meeting – the time and place that gave birth to the Philadelphia Female Anti-Slavery Society
