Belleplain’s Lake Nummy Athletic Field
Once in Belleplain State Forest, just follow the signs to the public parking lot (free) and then walk the short distance on to the observing field. Telescopes will be set up to give beautiful views of objects in the night sky! Just walk up to any telescope and ask a SJAC member what they are viewing and if you can take a look. Please dress appropriately on cold nights. Consider bug spray on warm nights. Only RED flashlights are allowed on the field.

All makes and models, 15 years old and older will be on display from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.! Come see it all – foreign, domestic, hot rods, Sunday cruisers, low riders, antiques, classics – all of it! Top Awards ceremony will take place at the Wildwoods Spring Fling Festival in Byrne Plaza at approximately 5 p.m.

Hereford Inlet Lighthouse 150th Birthday Celebration

Hereford Inlet Lighthouse, 1st & Central Avenues, North Wildwood.
Ceremony begins at 12 noon with a flag-raising, presentation about the history of the Lighthouse, and guest speakers from the public and private sector. A magician and balloon twister will be onsite from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. providing fun and entertainment! More activities will take place inside the Lighthouse including a presentation about Augustin Fresnel, the inventor of the famous Fresnel lens!
