This event will focus on growing mushrooms and will include a container growing kit. Mushrooms can be mysterious, powerful, and also delicious. They offer us just a glimpse into the immense fungal kingdom.
Lin Conover, owner of Wood Song Mushrooms LLC, first began learning about mushrooms through a deep dive into soil health and composting methods. With an appreciation for the integral role fungus has for our living planet, she began the process of identifying wild species and growing cultivated mushrooms.
Woodsong Mushrooms now provides fresh mushrooms and related products, in addition to educational programs, nature/foraging walks, and hands-on experiences.
