In the off-season, the Cape May Convention Hall transforms into a skating rink for all ages. Skate rentals are available. MLK Day Ocean City Cleanup

Volunteers are invited to join others nationwide to honor Dr. King’s contributions. In Ocean City, citizens are asked to participate in a citywide cleanup from 9 a.m. to noon. Sign-up and supply distribution will take place at the Howard S. Stainton Senior Center.

Join the Cape May Bird Observatory’s Program Coordinator, Adehl Schwaderer, and uncover the best locations in and around Cape May County for winter birding. Just because the temperatures drop doesn’t mean the bird diversity does! In addition to learning about new natural areas to explore, Adehl will also be sharing tips on how to identify the birds commonly seen in these places.

Learn about archiving and preserving your family keepsakes. Bring your photographs and documents and learn how to arrange everything into an organized personal archive, including how to preserve your items for future generations. Each attendee will receive their own workshop kit which includes 8-1/2″ sized file folders, photograph pockets, document sheets, tissue paper, and a flip-top document case for storage.
