Renowned musicians who have toured with artists such as Journey, Foreigner, Wings, the Alan Parsons Project, and Billy Joel, The Hit Men perform classic hits and share fascinating stories about touring and recording with rock royalty. Not only will this supergroup perform classic hits such as Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’,” Wings’ “Live and Let Die,” Foreigner’s “Feels Like The First Time,” Billy Joel’s “You May Be Right,” and Alan Parsons’ “Eye in the Sky,” but they will also celebrate their associations with these mega-stars and share their first-hand experiences as eyewitnesses to rock history.
Members of The Hit Men include:
Steve Murphy, a drummer, singer, producer, and engineer who has performed and recorded with are some of the most famous and recognizable names in music, including The Alan Parsons Project, Eric Burdon and the Animals, Dave Mason, and Todd Rundgren;
Tommy Williams, a guitarist and vocalist who served as the musical director and guitarist for music prodigy Debbie Gibson, performing on two world tours with Debbie and directing three of her best-selling albums. Tommy has also performed with The Hooters, Tommy Shaw of Styx, Steely Dan, and Cheap Trick’s Rick Nielsen and Robin Zander;
Gregory Smith, a bassist and vocalist who has collaborated with rock legends such as Billy Joel, Alice Cooper, Ted Nugent, Alan Parsons, Blue Oyster Cult, Tommy James & The Shondells, and The Turtles;
Mike DiMeo, a gifted multi-keyboard expert and singer who performed as the organist for Tommy James and The Shondells and collaborated with Deep Purple, Johnny Winter, and Bonnie Tyler; and
Mark Newman, an expert musician who plays guitar, mandolin, lap steel, and dobro. Newman has shared the stage with John Oates of Hall & Oates, Jim McCarty of The Yardbirds, Bobby Whitlock of Derek & The Dominoes, and the inimitable Sam The Sham.
