What: A baby race
When: Tuesday, July 25 at 9:30 a.m.
Where: In front of the Wildwoods Convention Center
The Wildwood Civic Club will hold the annual Waddle on the grassy circle in front of the Wildwoods Convention Center at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 25th.
The Waddle takes place on a large colorful parachute. The first youngster to waddle or crawl to the waiting parent at the edge of the parachute is declared the winner. Waddle winners will receive a special Grand Prize Package from Morey’s Piers and Waterparks
Registration begins at 9 a.m. thru 9:30 a.m. and the Waddle will begin at 9:30 sharp. There are 2 categories: the Crawl is open to all infants 15 months and younger. The Waddle is open to infants 24 months and younger. The contest is free, and the first 40 entries receive a special gift.
A celebratory luncheon will be held at Adam’s Restaurant on the Boardwalk following the Waddle where Queen Oceania will be introduced. Admission is $25.00 per person.
Participants are encouraged to register for the 113th Wildwoods Baby Parade the following day, Wednesday July 26th. Trophies will be awarded to the top finishers in the six divisions. The Baby Parade is free to all who take part.
