Cape May Independence Day Parade
Saturday, July 2 at 1 p.m.
Beach Avenue
The parade will feature string bands along with many other outstanding performing groups, family entries, autos, veteran organizations, and local officials.
Decorated golf carts, bicycles, and baby carriages are encouraged to enter our “Best Decorated” contest this year for a chance to win 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place prizes! All community entries are welcome to participate in the parade. Anyone interested in participating should contact the Cape May Department of Civic Affairs at 609-884-9565.
Cape May City Fireworks
Monday, July 4 from 9 to 10 p.m.
Fireworks will launch across from Congress Hall from an off-shore barge.
Lower Township Independence Day Festival / Fireworks
Sunday, July 3 at 5 p.m.
Bay Drive in North Cape May and Town Bank from Lincoln Avenue to Browning Avenue.
Fireworks blasting over the bay, four live bands, food items from ice cream to crab cakes and amusement rides are all a part of Lower Township’s Independence Day Festival!
A 30-minute fireworks show will be launched from an offshore barge at 9 p.m.
A variety of food items will be available from caramel corn to steak from 65 vendors.
Inflatable games will be available including football and a pitching machine. Two areas off Bay Drive will have amusement rides for children available for a nominal fee.
Wildwood: 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular

Celebrate the 4th of July with a fantastic firework spectacular on the Wildwood Boardwalk!
North Wildwood: Independence Day Dog + Family Parade
Monday, July 4 at 9 a.m.
9th and Atlantic Avenues
Prizes awarded for the best decorated bikes wagons, strollers, scooters and low speed vehicles in red, white and blue theme. Dogs can also be registered to march in a “pooch parade.
Avalon Fireworks
Monday, July 4 at 8:45 p.m.
Avalon will illuminate the sky with one of the largest fireworks displays on the East Coast. The fireworks display will be set to music which will be simulcast on radio station WCZT 98.7FM the Coast.
Avalon Boat Parade
Sunday, July 3 at 11 a.m.
Avalon Recreation will host a patriotic boat parade to celebrate Independence Day. No registration is needed to run a boat in the parade; boats need to arrive no later than 10:45 and must follow the Avalon Fire Department vessel.
The route starts at the Avalon Yacht Club.
Avalon: Bay Atlantic Symphony Independence Day Concert
Sunday, July 3 at 7 p.m.

This free symphony fills fast, so be sure to get there a bit early if you want a seat! Those who don’t have a seat can still watch in the standing room section. Come see a fantastic symphony play a patriotic set.

The band will play both patriotic and contemporary.
Sea Isle: All Americana Family Fun Night
Monday, July 4 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Excursion Park, JFK Blvd. & Pleasure Ave.
Come down for an evening of patriotic fun and excitement. Get your Face Painted, and sing and dance with Mickey Mouse. Wear your patriotic best! Stick around for the Fireworks afterwards.
Sea Isle City Fireworks

50th Street Beach
Sea Isle’s Independence Day Fireworks Show will take place at 9:00 p.m., launched from an ocean barge near the 50th Street beach.
Middle Township 4th of July Celebration + Fireworks
Monday, July 4 at 6 p.m. / Rain date July 10
Goshen Complex, 626 Goshen Rd, Cape May Court House
Spanky’s BBQ and Mr. Softee food trucks will be on site to satisfy holiday cravings. The Animal House band will entertain the crowd.
A variety of games such as giant Jenga and giant Connect Four will offer the chance for friendly competition. A pie-eating contest will take place at 8:15 p.m. Contestants will eat a pie topped with mounds of whipped cream as fast as they can – and yes, their hands will be tied behind their backs.
Fireworks display begins around 9 p.m.
Coast Guard Sunset Parade
Sunday, July 3 at 7:40 p.m.
U.S. Coast Guard Training Center Cape May
Sunset Parades are free military displays of marching troops and the Coast Guard Recruit Ceremonial Drill Team. The recruit regiment will march in the parade and strike the National Ensign from the parade field at sunset.
The gates to the training center will open at 6:30 p.m., and visitors are asked to seated by 7:40 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to use this extra time for security screening, parking, and seating.
Ocean City 4th of July Skate Bash
Monday, July 4 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Skate Park, Fifth Street and Asbury Avenue.
The Ocean City Skate Park will host a free Fourth of July Skate Bash; the event will feature a DJ, snacks, giveaways, and a patriotic costume contest.
Ocean City July 4th Celebration + Fireworks

Music Pier
Kite flying competition at 7 p.m. followed by entertainment on the beach next to the Music Pier. Spectacular boardwalk fireworks top off the evening at 9 p.m.
Ocean City Pops Patriotic Concert

Carey Stadium
Ocean City’s legendary local orchestra will perform patriotic classics and audience favorites in honor of our nation’s birthday. Bring a beach chair or blanket to sit on the field, and there will be seating available on the bleachers.
