The North American Sea Glass Association (NASGA) will hold its 14th annual North American Sea Glass Festival at the Wildwood Convention Center on Saturday, September 28 and Sunday, September 29.

The festival, a favorite for adults and children alike, will feature the highly anticipated Shard of the Year contest, collectors from around the country, and Shard Identification experts. This year’s theme for the festival is “Gems of the Sea” and the lectures will reflect that theme, with lectures about Cape May diamonds, Sea Glass Gems, and also feature our keynote speaker Jason Sandy, a Thames River Mudlark.

The event will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

The Wildwoods Convention Center, a beautiful facility located on the beach, is conveniently located and close to historic Cape May, as well as several other attractions, which makes the area an ideal destination for sea glass enthusiasts.

NASGA is a nonprofit organization positively supporting sea glass collectors and the sea glass community with festivals, information, educational opportunities, commercial membership and more. The primary goal of NASGA is to establish a community of informed collectors and sellers of sea glass that are educated on the characteristics and significance of genuine sea glass.
