LCMR Baseball Boosters Pancake Breakfast

The Lower Cape May Baseball Boosters will be having a Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, March 30 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Erma Fire Hall. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Lower Cape May Regional High School and Teitelman Middle School Baseball teams. Stop down and enjoy fresh pancakes, sausage and bacon while supporting our local school programs. The Erma Fire Hall is located at the front of the Cape May County Airport on Breakwater Road in Erma.

Whether you are an organic gardening newbie or an experienced gardener, “Organic Gardening Course for Food Production” will provide you with skills and information for making a great garden. This training, offered by the Northeast Organic Farming Association of New Jersey (NOFA-NJ), will teach how to improve and prepare your soil and how to plant crops from spring through fall. Discover how to manage weeds, diseases, insects and critters using time-tested methods. Instructor Al Johnson has farmed and gardened organically for 40 years. The course will be offered Saturday, March 30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Atlantic County Utility Authority Recycling Center, 6700 Delilah Road, Egg Harbor Twp. Ocean City Sports Memorabilia Show

Two players who helped bring championship rings to Philadelphia will be part of the second annual Sports Memorabilia Show on March 30 at the Ocean City Music Pier. Philadelphia Eagles star Darren Sproles and former Phillies slugger Matt Stairs will greet fans and lead Q&A sessions at the show.
The show features vendors and table sales dedicated to athletes, fans and collectors. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 30.
Sproles will be available for a meet-and-greet session at 11:45 a.m. Tickets for an autograph (on a photo or item you supply) and a selfie photo with the player are on sale for $40. A meet-and-greet with Stairs ($20 for autograph and selfie with the player) is scheduled for 2:45 p.m. A combination package that includes both players is available for $55.
