The Borough of Wildwood Crest hosts its annual Seafarers’ Celebration Saturday, Sept. 22 – a yearly end-of-summer festival set to take place along beautiful Sunset Lake in Wildwood Crest.
The celebration begins Saturday, Sept. 22 with a street festival along Sunset Lake on New Jersey Avenue between Rambler Road and Miami Avenue. This is one of the signature annual events of Wildwood Crest, a day-long street festival from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., featuring live music, craft vendors, food, family entertainment, and children’s activities including a performance by the Vahalla Pirates, magic shows, a live turtle exhibition, interactive games, roving street performers, pie-eating contests, bounce houses, face painting and more.
Free live music by Big City will follow the street festival at 7:30 p.m., and a fireworks show will conclude the festival at 9 p.m. at Centennial Park, Fern Road & Ocean Avenue.
