Middle Township’s second free summer concert features Brandon Tomasello and The City Rhythm Orchestra on Thursday, Aug. 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Ockie Wisting Recreation Complex, 7 Fulling Mill Rd., Rio Grande.
Enjoy the “Big Band” sound with Brandon Tomasello and The City Rhythm Orchestra, a 16-piece band, as they channel the memory of Frank Sinatra.
“Our first summer concert was a great success, with beautiful weather and community residents and visitors dancing the night away,” said Middle Township Mayor Michael J. Clark.
Alongside some great music, you can enjoy Spanish food from Pequita’s Dogs and Catering, festival food from Wild Dogs and ice cream from Mr. Softee.
“Our summer concerts are an ideal opportunity for the community to come together and experience the new recreation complex with one another,” said Middle Township Committeeman Tim Donohue. “We’re looking forward to making these concerts an annual tradition in the summers to come,” he continued.
The summer concerts showcase the Township’s newest recreation complex that boasts 82 acres of fun for the whole family with a freshwater fishing lake, an 18-hole disc golf course and a playground. The concerts are part of an effort to improve quality of life for residents and to support tourism Middle Township. Come rock at the Ock!
