THE WILDWOODS – The Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce presents the 14th Annual Fabulous ‘50s and Beyond Weekend Friday, Oct. 13 and Saturday, Oct. 14 in the Wildwoods – a two-day celebration paying tribute to the 1950s and highlighting the Wildwoods’ role in the birth of Rock ‘n Roll music.
The fun begins Friday night, Oct. 13 inside the Wildwoods Convention Center with a Dance Party featuring The Cameos, a Nifty Fifty’s Dance Band who is guaranteed to get everyone moving and grooving to classic oldies. The Dance Party takes place from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. and admission is $16 per person plus tax and fee.
Saturday, Oct. 14 will feature an afternoon of outdoor fun and music during the FREE Fabulous ‘50s Street Fair at Fox Park, located across from the Wildwoods Convention Center on Ocean Avenue, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Street Fair will include live entertainment throughout the day, a classic car show, a Doo Wop ‘50s Bus Tour, food and craft vendors, and much more.
Saturday evening at 7 p.m., a star-studded concert will take place in the Wildwoods Convention Center. The line-up will feature Frankie Avalon, The Duprees, Danny & The Juniors and The Ladies of Shake, Rattle ‘n Roll. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Tickets are currently on sale and prices are $54 per person for stadium seating (including tax & facility fee) and $71.50 per person for floor seating (including tax & facility fee).
