“Great Beer for Great People” is the philosophy at 7 Mile Brewery, and the brews it serves are nothing short of it. This craft brewery provides an array of beers that fit the palates of multiple people, made with all kinds of malts, grains, hops, sugars and other flavorings.
7 Mile opened its doors in September 2016 after owners Pete Beyda and Chris Collett finally decided to make their dream come true – a dream that started in a Stone Harbor garage with a small home brewing system. Pete and Chris worked hard to perfect the recipes they’ve been refining for years, plus create new flavors, resulting in great beer as interesting as the people who drink it.
Today, 7 Mile boasts a 4,000-barrel annual production capacity and over 2,000 square feet of first class tasting room space. The Tasting Room is spacious and inviting with plenty of chairs, stools, tables and bar space to accommodate everyone. The Beer Garden is equally spacious with outdoor games so you can enjoy a beautiful day and a beer, too.
At 7 Mile, there are always 14-16 beers on tap, many of which rotate seasonally. Tasters allow patrons to try four ounces of four different beers for just $8. Choose your favorite and get a pint! But before taking a seat at the bar, visitors must take a guided or self-guided tour of the brewing facility, learning all about the process from grain to glass.
7 Mile Brewery is open year round. This summer, enjoy Quizzo from 7 to 10 p.m. with a $25 gift card for the winning team. On weekends, local food truck owners will be serving light fare, and there will be live music by local artists in the Tasting Room or outdoor Beer Garden. You are always welcome to bring in any food or snacks you like to enjoy with a cold beer. Summer hours are 12 to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 12 to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Bring Fido, because 7 Mile’s tasting room is dog friendly!
