1. 3rd Annual ‘Anglesea Day’

Come celebrate the 132nd anniversary of the founding of the borough of Angelsea, now known as the City of North Wildwood, at the 3rd Annual “Anglesea Day!” At 10 a.m., there will be a presentation in the Council Chambers, 9th and Atlantic avenues, on the mayors of Anglesea from 1885 to 1906, including William A. Tompkins, Peter Jay Munro, Edwin S. Hewitt, Edward M. Shivers and Augustus Hilton. There will also be an unveiling of new historical markers (weather permitting) including the original location of Hereford Inlet Lighthouse (1874), the Manor Hotel (1907) and the boardwalk (1912).
2. Wildwood Historical Society Open House

You’re invited for a walk down memory lane. . . Come to the Wildwood Historical Society’s open house at the newly renovated Wildwood’s Historical Museum on June 2 from 6 to 9 p.m. Browse and explore the Museum’s many treasures and celebrate the rich history of the Wildwoods! There will be a special showing of a 1941 promotional film of Cape May County, from Ocean City to Cape May. Refreshments will be served. Bring a friend, mingle and reminisce! 3. West Cape May Annual Strawberry Festival
Saturday, June 3 at 9 a.m.

Come to the 19th annual Strawberry Festival in West Cape May from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This much anticipated event features over 100 food and artisan vendors, all celebrating the official fruit of spring! Live music will play all day featuring Bill the Steel Drum Guy, Blondage Rocks at 110, The Squares and The Geno White Trio. Crowning of the Strawberry King and Queen begins at 3 p.m. Come vote for your favorite strawberry-loving person! Admission is free. Rain date is June 4. 4. 5th Annual Sea Isle City Beer Festival
Saturday, June 3 at 2 p.m.

Over 80 craft beers and ciders can be found at this year’s event. The full brewery list includes Cape May, Magic Hat, Brooklyn, Sierra Nevada, 7 Mile, Angry Orchard, Glasstown, Double Nickle, Flying Fish, Terrapin, Sly Fox, Forgotten Boardwalk, Evil Genius, Revolution, Leinenkugel, Slack Tide, Long Trail, Ludlam Island, Garden State, Samuel Adams, New Belgium, Traveler, Jack’s Cider, 1911 Cider, Schofferhofer, Shiner, Great Lakes, Twin Lakes, Blue Moon and Yuengling.
