Featuring dogs that have been rescued from pounds and shelters, this performing arts theatre show was created in 2008 after the Perondi’s appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show. The new show includes lighting effects, visual props and costumes, crowd participation, unique stunts and tricks, challenges, doggy dancing, freestyle flying disc and features Chris Perondi’s famous Stunt Dog Triathlon! Spring Boardwalk Classic Car Show

Spectators will have the opportunity to view and admire an incredible collection of hundreds of classic and vintage cars and trucks displayed on the world-famous Wildwoods Boardwalk from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. And don’t miss the parade of beautiful cars and trucks as they cruise down the Boardwalk at 3 p.m. each day. On Saturday evening at 5 p.m., a “Winner’s Circle” event will convene in front of the Wildwoods Convention Center in the turnaround circle. Beach Classic International Gymnastics Championship

38th Annual Great Cape May Footrace

Cape May Running Co. and The Chamber of Commerce of Greater Cape May host the 38th Annual Great Cape May Footrace. The race will feature both a 5k and 10k distance. An awards ceremony and after party will be at the Beach Shack (Rusty Nail, 205 Beach Ave., Cape May) immediately following the last finisher. Parking is free until 11 a.m. at all meters around race start and finish. Packet pick will be at Cape May Running Co. located at 305 B Beach Ave. on Friday. Annual NJ CEED Breast Cancer Awareness Walk

Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the walk will begin at 10:15. Registration for the walk is free. The first 100 participants will receive a free T-shirt. Donations are welcomed and will go to American Cancer Society. There will be local organizations present giving out information. Walk at your own pace, this is not a competition. The main goal of the walk is to bring awareness to Breast Cancer and to learn the risk factors associated with it. Throughout the walk there will be educational material on Breast Cancer to bring awareness.
6th Annual Clam-A-Rama

Welcome summer with a day of clams and competition in Cape May as the Beach Shack celebrates the long and storied game! Clamshell Pitching, a classic Jersey Shore activity, comes to the Beach Shack. A quick lesson will take place at 11 a.m. before the games actually begin at 12 p.m. Clam pitching is a game that can be compared to corn hole or horse shoes. Registration fee for those participating is $35, and includes a T-shirt and food and drink specials. The festivities will continue all day a night, and will include live entertainment. Cape May County Marbles Tournament

Ringer Stadium in Wildwood, Wildwood Avenue and the Beach, Wildwood
Children ages 7-14 who are Cape May County residents are eligible to participate. Registration will take place from 2 to 3 p.m. on the day of the tournament. The boy and girl champions will compete in the National Marbles Tournament held June 19-22. The preliminary rounds will be a round-robin competition with games comprised of six innings.
