EcoVentures Winter Break Camp and Pool Party

HERO Campaign Pledge & Plunge/First Day at the Beach

Splashing their way into the New Year, more than 1,000 participants are expected to take the HERO Pledge and rush into the Ocean City surf at the Music Pier on Sunday, Jan. 1 at 2 p.m. The plunge is paired with a pledge to the John R. Elliott HERO Campaign for Designated Drivers, a national non-profit organization dedicated to preventing drunk driving by promoting the use of safe and sober designated drivers. Plungers are asked to take the HERO Pledge to be a designated driver for friends and family whenever alcohol is served, and those who donate $25 to the campaign will receive a commemorative long-sleeved T-shirt.
