First Annual Blues, Brews and Bar-B-q’s of Cape May

Cabanas and Carney’s are hosting the first annual Blues, Brews and Bar-B-Q’s of Cape May music festival on Friday, Oct. 5 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 6 at 3 p.m., located between Jackson and Decatur streets on the beachfront. This two-day event will feature local and popular blues artists, headlined by Frank Bey and his new CD release to be featured at the festival. The Bar-B-Q eats will be provided by DC’s Smokehouse and will be offered inside both venues during the entire festival.

This event is open to the public. Must be 21 after 10 p.m. Reserved VIP seating can be purchased for $10 for any show at www.ShoppingCabanasOnTheBeach.com. Both Frank Bey shows will be a $5 cover for admission.

Be sure to join Cabanas and Carney’s throughout the entire weekend for two action-packed days filled with amazing music, savory brews and tasty Bar-B-Q favorites. The goal is to create an annual “first of its kind” beachfront festival that will continue to grow each season, and draw consumers both local and abroad in traditionally slower dayparts after the season.

Event is sponsored by Cabanas, Carney’s, DC’s Smokehouse and 98.7 the Coast.

About Frank Bey
Known as “The Southern Gentleman of the Blues,” Frank Bey has been nominated by the International Blues Foundation for Best Soul Blues Artist of the Year a few years standing. He can be heard on SiriusXM Radio and Music Choice with such songs as “Don’t Mess with the Monkey,” “Bed for My Soul” and “Don’t Ask Me How I Feel (Cause I Might Tell You a Story).” Bey sings “Sledgehammer Soul” and “Down Home Blues” and will reach the inner feelings of your soul with his voice. Bey will be headlining the Brews and Bar-B-q’s of Cape May festival, playing both nights and featuring his new CD release. On his new CD, “Back in Business” on Nola Blue Records, the title track is both autobiographical and symbolic of Bey’s inspired return to the singing career he began as a child. The track was recorded and produced in Nashville by two-time Grammy winner Tom Hambridge. Bey says, “Without a doubt, ‘Back In Business’ is the recording I have always wanted to make.” Check out www.FrankBeyMusic.com for Frank’s upcoming events.
