Visit this unique natural area, with a dune forest between untouched beach dunes and salt marsh. Birds and butterflies are plentiful. Binoculars can be provided. Walks last about an hour and a half and are fun for novice and experienced birders.
Sunday, Oct. 21 at 10 a.m.: Ecology of the Dunes & Beach
How did our barrier islands get here? What unique species live here? How have the dunes changed? Get answers to these questions in a family-friendly exploration of the barrier island.
