Saturday, March 2 at 6 p.m.
Bolero Resort & Conference Center, 3320 Atlantic Avenue, Wildwood
Proceeds of the Beef and Beer Benefit at the Bolero Resort in Wildwood will offset the costs of the run. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door – featuring a buffet dinner, live band and 50/50 raffle. The NJ Run for the Fallen is an apolitical reflection of remembrance a team of active duty military runners from Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst and other locations across the US. They come together to embark on a 190+ mile journey to honor every New Jersey service member killed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, Operation New Dawn and other conflicts...with each mile dedicated to a New Jersey Hero and their Family.
Although we physically run one mile honoring and remembering each fallen hero from the current conflicts, the total run represents every New Jersey service member who laid down their lives for our freedom in all wars and conflicts. The fundraiser covers the necessary expenses associated with the run by providing support for our Active-Duty Military Run Team, Gold Star Families and Support Team. These expenses include overnight accommodations, shirts, printing and a myriad of other costs. Tickets may be purchased online or call Eileen at 609-846-6121. Visit online for more information, www.njrun.org.
