This year, concert promoter Bob Rose and BRE Entertainment introduce Aimee Mann, a singer-songwriter with a career that has spanned four decades as solo artist and with bands such as ‘Til Tuesday and The Young Snakes. Her hits include “Save Me” from the film “Magnolia.”
The Hooters made their Ocean City debut last summer and will bring back a lot of memories for the folks who caught the Philadelphia-based band’s live shows on the Jersey Shore or listened to WMMR-FM in the 1980s. The band will reprise big hits like “All You Zombies,” “And We Danced” and “Day by Day,” and they’ll introduce newer material as well.
Get the Led Out performs the music of Led Zeppelin, and their authentic sound has made the band a staple of the Summer Concert Series for years.
America will reprise a string of 1970s hits that include “A Horse With No Name,” “Ventura Highway” and “Sister Golden Hair,” among others.
The a cappella group Straight No Chaser are regulars on casino stages in Atlantic City and move south to Ocean City for the first time for two shows.
The Beach Boys have played to sold-out crowds on the Ocean City Music Pier for the past three summers, and they’re making good on a promise to keep returning. The tour features original member Mike Love and contributing member Bruce Johnston, along with a new band, performing Beach Boys hits.
Tickets are now on sale for all shows at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000.
Look for additional announcements in the coming weeks. Tickets for these shows also will be available at Ocean City Music Pier box office (ocnj.us/boxoffice) in the spring.
